We are looking for a QA/Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans for each release in coordination with the development and marketing teams.
• Work closely with the development teams to qualify Solido IP Validation products.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot product issues, reporting them effectively to relevant teams.
• Analyze customer-reported defects and automate corresponding test cases.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards while validating various products by considering different quality attributes (FURPS).
• Evaluate test coverage and propose improvements to enhance validation efficiency and accuracy.
• Design innovative testing scenarios targeting different customer use models to identify potential issues and suggest enhancements.
• Test the integration of products with Siemens EDA AI Solutions to ensure seamless operation and quality performance.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics Engineering with a minimum grade of Very Good or equivalent GPA.
• Proven experience in a related field.
• Good knowledge of Analog IC and Digital ASIC design flows.
• Fundamental understanding of Digital ASIC design, including the design flow from specification to verification.
• Familiarity with digital verification methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of VHDL, Verilog, Liberty, LEF files, and SPICE netlists is a plus.
• Experience with Python, Shell scripting, and UNIX environments is a plus.
• Basic understanding of QA methodologies and development tools (e.g., version control, defect management, test coverage tools) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to clearly document test results and collaborate effectively with QA members, developers, and field engineers.
• Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
