In this role, you will be responsible for integrating diverse systems and platforms into a centralized protection and monitoring environment. You will work closely with cybersecurity, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless interoperability, secure data exchange, and reliable end to end system behavior.
This role requires hands on experience in system integration, interface design, and troubleshooting across heterogeneous environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain integrations between multiple independent systems and a central security and monitoring platform
Support the integration of software and cybersecurity components across distributed systems using well defined APIs and interfaces
Analyze system interfaces, protocols, and data flows to ensure reliable and secure interoperability
Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to support integrations, investigate issues, and explain technical behavior
Develop and configure adapters, connectors, and interfaces for system to system communication
Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to align integrations with security and compliance requirements
Perform integration testing, validation, and troubleshooting across complex system landscapes
Support system documentation, interface specifications, and integration guidelines
Participate in issue resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in systems integration across complex IT and/or OT environments, including multi tier or segmented architectures.
Hands on knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and system interfaces
Experience integrating heterogeneous systems using APIs, middleware, or standard communication protocols
Familiarity with Linux based systems and basic scripting (e.g., Python, Bash)
Working knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including secure system design principles, authentication/authorization concepts, and access controls
Ability to troubleshoot integration issues across software, network, and system layers
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to internal teams and customers
Comfort working in customer facing environments, including supporting deployments, responding to integration questions, and assisting with issue resolution in a professional manner
Good to Have
Exposure to industrial, energy, or critical infrastructure OT environments
Knowledge of cybersecurity standards or frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443 or similar)
Experience with system hardening, monitoring, or security tooling integration
Familiarity with virtualization or containerized environments
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related discipline)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to work effectively in cross functional and multicultural teams
Clear communication and documentation skills
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast evolving technical environment
What Siemens Energy Offers
