SI Buildings Sales Development Program Trainee (Pilot)  
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Duration: Nine Months (July 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027)

The Sales Development Program (SDP) at Smart Infrastructure Buildings is a structured, early-career development experience designed to prepare participants for a Sales Executive role in the building automation, fire, and security industry. This program combines technical training, sales skill development, cohort learning, and hands-on local area experience to accelerate readiness for a customer-facing sales position. Participants will gain exposure to Siemens’ portfolio, sales processes, tools, and customer engagement strategies while building strong business and technical foundations. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Participate in structured technical and sales training 

  • Engage in cohort learning sessions and program assignments 

  • Complete area-based learning activities and job shadowing 

  • Build foundational knowledge of building automation, fire, and/or security solutions 

  • Learn Siemens sales processes, tools, and CRM systems 

  • Support sales teams with customer research, proposals, and opportunity development 

  • Present learnings and progress throughout the program 

  • Collaborate with mentors, managers, and program leaders

  • SDPs are expected to demonstrate continuous learning, professionalism, and growth mindset throughout the program. 
     

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications: 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technical studies, or related field (or equivalent experience) 

  • Interest in technical sales or solutions selling 

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills 

  • Learning agility and curiosity 

  • Self-motivation and accountability 


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Internship experience at Siemens in sales, engineering, or customer-facing roles 

  • Interest in HVAC, building automation, fire, security, or mechanical systems 

  • Presentation and relationship-building skills

The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually plus an uncapped commission structure. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
