We are currently seeking a Service Technician (Fire Safety & Security) to join our Smart Infrastructure Buildings team at Siemens Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in Adana.

The Service Technician will be responsible for performing site tests, programming, commissioning, integrations, Fire Safety and Security Systems applications, technical documentation, kick-off meetings, technical trainings, final acceptance tests, and system maintenance operations (preventive/corrective maintenance, fault intervention/elimination, modifications, and updates) for national and international projects.

What part will you play? 

• Performing the technical commissioning and maintenance service operations for Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address and Voice Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems, Fire Suppression Systems, and Building Management Software integrations (including 3rd-party systems).
• Improving own technical and application skills to enhance service quality; understanding customer needs and taking necessary actions to provide appropriate solutions.
• Creating service sales opportunities (service and maintenance contracts, spare parts, modernization, etc.) at customer sites and forwarding these opportunities to the sales team.
• Providing creative feedback to increase the quality of service operations and processes.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Technical high school diploma or a university degree (Associate or Bachelor’s) in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Computer Science/Engineering.
• Good command of English and Turkish, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire Safety and Security Systems.
• Knowledge of networking and IT.
• Experience in national and/or international projects.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Product and/or application knowledge.
• Ability to drive and travel extensively across the country.
• No restrictions for short- or long-term travel and accommodation for national or international projects.
