We are looking for Sr. Officer- Mechanical Maintenance

You’ll make a difference by

Sr. Officer- Mechanical Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing maintenance activities to keep operations running smoothly, safely, and cost-effectively. Your focus will be on preventive and corrective maintenance, resource planning, and compliance with safety and EnMS standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance for MIG Welding Machines, Machining Centre, EOT Cranes, Shot Blasting Machines, SPMs, and Assembly Lines.
  • Attend and resolve breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Maintain machine history cards and update maintenance records regularly.
  • Ensure availability of critical spares and manage inventory effectively.
  • Coordinate with vendors for spare procurement and quality assurance.
  • Follow safety standards and ensure compliance with ISO 90001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and  ISO 50001 and other plant norms.
  • Identify and implement energy-saving and efficiency improvement measures.
  • Support TPM, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports for management review.
  • Supervise and guide junior technicians during maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to reduce impact on operations.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in MIG Welding, CNC/Machining Centres, EOT Cranes, Shot Blasting, and SPMs.
  • Expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools like vibration analysis and thermography.
  • Basic knowledge of CMMS and MS Office for documentation and reporting.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and team coordination abilities.
  • Leadership skills to manage and guide maintenance teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
