As part of  Siemens Mobility`s IT organization you support the local IT delivery teams across various countries (especially UK and CH) in order to deliver most efficient and high quality IT services to the internal business units. 

Main duties:
  • Ensure stable and (cyber)secure operations of multiple applications and databases across the EU region incl. lifecycle-, change-, configuration- and test management
  • System and environment monitoring including health checks and problem avoidance
  • Coordination and Management of relevant application tests against latest Microsoft OS client updates
  • Closely liaise with local delivery teams within the EU region to support effective task allocation

Your Profile:
  • Experience in service management, in particular in the control of service providers within the service management tool “ServiceNow” 
  • Managing license files, SSL- and server certificates
  • Experiences in SQL database operations and as application administrator 
  • Experiences with service management toolsets, event triage and ticket routing including escalation management
  • Experiences in project management within cross-cultural environments
  • Knowledge in automation solutions
  • Proven ability to quickly acquire new skills and become proficient in new technologies
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Ability to change, communication and team skills, customer orientation
  • Willingness to work occasionally on weekends and public holidays
  • Willingness to travel
