Position Overview
Looking for an IVD professional who's ready to lead our drug-testing business into the future. This role is critical in managing both the forward-looking strategy and the commercial product health of the Syva product line. The Product Manager works cross-functionally to guide product development and improvement projects for a portfolio of assays to support a significant drug-testing business in both forensic and clinical settings.  The Product Manager will be responsible for Drug of Abuse (DAT) and Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM) assay portfolios across all Siemens chemistry systems, including the new Atellica Solution. The incumbent will also be responsible for management of key external suppliers.

Reports to the Director of Product Management;  interacts with members of all BA functions to achieve objectives, maintains relationships with customers and regional organizations to understand customer needs and translate those needs into actionable requirements; actively monitors industry to understand the competitive environment and anticipates market trends and demands; BA interface to external partners and responsible for managing relationships with suppliers of OEM products;  key participant of governance team that drives product strategy and product health;  capable of developing and presenting business proposals for product / portfolio strategic initiatives to BA Senior Management.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry/Biochemistry
5+ years of IVD experience
Understanding of clinical and/or drug-testing laboratory operations
5-10% travel expected (domestic and international)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
10+ years combined IVD industry experience in marketing/product management and clinical lab experience
Knowledge of product development process, project management, IVD regulations, IVD market a plus
