Your new area of responsibility - challenging and future-oriented
We are looking for a highly motivated experienced software development engineer with excellent programming and communication skills to work in the Hamburg Tessent research and development team within the Design to Silicon (D2S) business unit. You will be working in an international team that develop and maintain Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software tools with focus on Design For Test (DFT). This task includes enhancing and maintenance of existing tools in order to fulfill the needs driven by the semiconductor industry as well as working on new concepts and advanced algorithms.
Your qualifications - solid and adequate
- MS/PhD in Computer-Science, Mathematics or Electrical-Engineering
- Detailed knowledge of C++ programming languages on UNIX/LINUX platforms and experience working with larger software systems is required
- Good team working skills are required
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong analysis, design and problem solving skills, along with object-oriented programming experience
- Candidates with experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) and in particular digital design and testing is are preferred
- Experience with the industry standard IEEE 1687 is a big plus
- Individuals with strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills are preferred
