To bridge the enterprises’ digital transformation demands to right Siemens and ecosystem offering, consultative selling roles is needed to maximum the win-win solution between both sides, and minimum the waste of transformation journey for both sides.
Siemens is the leading company in digitalization transformation offering. Siemens Digital Industry (DI) set digital enterprise as core approach in Vision 2020+ plan. Digital Enterprise & Digital Service business segment （CS DE&DS) has been setup globally to offer the marketed needed digital transformation portfolio. Incl. Digital Enterprise consulting, integration projects and data services.
The position of Digital Enterprise Transformation Manager （DETM) is the business developer of CS DE&DS in China.
What are my responsibilities?
As CS DE&DS business responsible person in defined sales unit, DETM will be assigned as sales quota as business target. As well as Net Promoter Score in DE&DS business.
In focus industry verticals, DETM evaluate the potential customers and develop the target digital enterprise customers in defined regions.
Responsible for DE&DS opportunity pipeline update in defined regions. In cooperate with all Siemens digital function team to offer right portfolio to right customers.
Make preliminary assessment with customer. And prepare specific digital transformation action proposal (3~5 years).
As presales lead, get mindset alignment with customer management on digital enterprise transformation approach. Define win-win proposal for business cooperation.
Generate DE&DS portfolio business, support delivery team to bid and sign the contracts.
Engage into consulting project delivery. Link deliverables align with defined digital transforming action plan （3~5 years) with customer.
What do I need to qualify for this position?
10-15 years R&D or Manufacturing experience, Verticals prefer to Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace's, Machine building.
Outlook in focused industries mega trends, objective thinking and strong convincing power.
Solid success record in:
-Drive enterprise strategy transform masterplan;
-Leading value stream process improvement projects;
-New products development or introduction to manufacturing.
-Drive digitalization/Intelligence Manufacturing program.
Has taken leadership roles in Manufacturing/R&D/Quality/Process Improvement
Working experience in consulting firm will be additional plus. Project manager preferred.
Able to travel frequently, English writing.
Report to China CS DE&DS.
CS DE&DS delivery team and commercial team.
Be CS DE&DS representative in sales unit （SU）digital team. work closely with SU digital manager and account sales.
Support division level digital team for synergy resources.
