We are looking for a Windows System Administrator to maintain, upgrade, and manage our IT-systems.
Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. You should also have the patience to communicate with a variety of interdisciplinary teams and users.
Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Your challenge will be…
To Maintain, Upgrade and Manage our Windows-based Servers, in our Internal Datacenters or on the Cloud (AWS, Azure), including High-Availability Clusters and Microsoft Container Services.
To Implement and Enforce Security through Hardening according to Company Specifications and to Best Practices.
To Troubleshoot Incidents and Problems by yourself and sometimes coordinating efforts with other Support Groups and Manufacturers, including during On-Call Hours.
To Monitor and Analyze the Performance of the Systems to conduct the necessary Measures to eliminate existing performance Bottlenecks.
To Automate Recurring Administrative Tasks and work towards a Continuous Service Improvement using scripting tools like PowerShell.
To Provide Technical Advice on a diverse range of topics, such as server/network architecture, server connectivity, software running on the operating system or containers, and also other Cloud-related topics.
To Build Training Materials, and conduct training of internal staff.
To participate in the On-Call Duty (7*24) when required.

In-depth Experience with Server Administration of Windows Servers (2012 R2 / 2016), including Active Directory, Group Policies, Network Configurations, and Microsoft Cluster Services.
Experience with Microsoft Authentication Technologies.
Experience with Powershell using Scripts to Automate Administration Tasks.
Experience with Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.
Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud technologies.
Experience in troubleshooting Network, Firewall & Routing issues.
Knowledge of ITIL processes like Incident Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, and Change Management.
Experience with Server Monitoring Tools like Splunk, Nagios is a plus.
Experience with Storage systems (SAN/NAS) is a plus.
DevOps experience using Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Terraform is a plus.
Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift) is a plus.
Microsoft Certifications, e.g. MCSA, are a plus.
The ability to Develop and Present Technical Concepts to a Business Audience.
Strong Commitment to High-Quality Work and Timely Deliverables.
Be Fluent in English.
