The Simulation and Testing Solutions division (STS) within Siemens PLM, headquartered in Leuven-Belgium, aims to further strengthen and extend its competitive position as a provider of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) solutions through an assortment of simulation tools, test equipment and V&V methodologies for the design, test and validation of software-intensive safety critical systems. Therefore STS is looking for innovation software developers or software engineers with excellent software programming skills and special interest in the automotive or aerospace industry to strengthen the MBSE innovation team.
The candidate will join a team of software developers responsible for the development and go to market of a new solution addressing the challenges of orchestrating the specification, design and testing lifecycle of simulation models with special focus on the needs of the automotive and aerospace industry.
Within the team, you will be responsible for the development, testing and deployment of multiple functionalities of the software stack. Therefore the candidate will have to understand the use case needs coming for the product management team and translate these into clean coded features using an agile development methodology like Scrum. The software stack focusses mostly on bridging Simcenter simulation tools to a collaboration engineering and documentation platform Polarion.
The candidate will join the product development team hosted in Leuven, Belgium, and will have strong interactions with the product management team. The candidate will also work closely with the go-to the market team and can be asked to visit global lead customers to support the deployment of the solution.
