We are looking for a Global Director of Competitive Sales Enablement who will make it their mission to drive the competitive effectiveness of our sales team. This is an ideal opportunity for a creative coach experienced with designing and delivering highly effective programs that focus on improving competitive sales effectiveness, sales productivity, and overall sales results.

This role will give you strong ownership and exposure to working with other departments within Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics such as Sales, Marketing and Communications, Product Management, and Sales Operations across the world.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Global Director of Competitive Sales Enablement, you will be responsible for: 

  • Being subject matter expert - someone with a solid background in laboratory diagnostics, sales education experience, and a passion for imparting practical knowledge
  • Bringing excitement to the sales force about Siemens Healthineers Laboratory Diagnostics’ competitive strengths and unique selling proposition
  • Educating the sales force on competitive market dynamics in the context of solutions selling and implement best practices & programs with a coaching approach. 
  • Collaborating with marketing, communication and other departments on competitive content that will educate the sales team and bid managers to win tenders and advance deals (e.g. CRISP playbook, competitive battle cards, COF2Value case studies).
  • Proactively developing and/or updating engaging learning resources using existing programs
  • Contributing to global onboarding curriculum that enables sales representatives to ramp up their competitive knowledge.
  • Conducting ongoing group trainings and coordinate with sales leadership to define and implement sales support initiatives.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

  • Experience training in classroom & virtual settings (PowerPoint, Role play, lecture, games/activities, etc., webinars, podcasts)
  • Is organized; has strong project management experience in creating and running global programs, and creating relevant competitive content
  • Has the ability to travel internationally 30%-40% of the time
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Dynamic personality and detail oriented - will need to keep the audience's attention and build relationships with them
  • Ability to manage by influence in a global matrix
  • Is a strategic thinker
  • Prior experience with asset management tools like Bynder (Digital Asset Pool), Seismic (ONELibrary), etc.
  • Fluency with CRM systems and understanding reporting
  • Results oriented with the ability to evaluate and measure effectiveness of competitive sales trainings
  • Proficient in PowerPoint
