Project Manager

Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of the
project
- Ensure that all tasks for the project is delivered on time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the development of project scope and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders
and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate
verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each
project
- Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets and
experience levels
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-
term goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial
analysis
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Use and continually develop leadership skills
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
- Coordinate with the overall PM of Siemens Austria in delivering the project to Meralco.
- Supporting the rollout and operation of the project
- Support testing the EnergyIP application / platform, supporting customer acceptance tests
- Incident / Problem / Configuration and Knowledge Management
- Provide progress updates in relation to Incident and/or Defect investigations and diagnosis
activities to the Customer
- Initial assessment and validation of trouble tickets
- Support the customer in monitoring the system
- Escalation / Re-prioritization of trouble tickets with the internal service delivery organization
based on customers request.


Mandatory skills and competencies:
- Project management (any PM certification is an advantage)
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong working knowledge on Microsoft office
- General IT education
- Work experience in delivering an IT system for utilities
- Eagerness to learn
- Polite and friendly service delivery attitude

Additional skills / competencies advantage:
- Willingness to work outside of business hours (overtime and/or standby)
- Basic knowledge of Linux
- Basic database management system knowledge (any)
- Basic knowledge on the following is an advantage (SQL, VMware)
- Basic knowledge on network administration
- Know-how on prepayment systems

Planned working hours:
- By default: Monday to Friday business hours
- Additionally / optional: participation in 24/7 standby / schedule

Main Interfaces:
- Internal delivery organization (development, product line management, local delivery team)
- External delivery organization (e.g. third party vendors, customer’s project delivery team)
