Siemens Mobility Spain, we need to incorporate a Software Engineer whitin the R&D department who will be responsible for the design/development/testing of Train Control Systems, according to the design / product specifications.

The position is consecuence as various maternity/paternity leaves, we offer a temporary contract that could be extended approximately 1 year. 

We offer you the opportunity to work in one of the biggest R&D departments in Spain and in a multidisciplinary and international  team.

Main functions and responsibilities:
• Software Development for specific Siemens Mobility solutions.
• Design, implement and modify software using the C / C ++ and / or Ada programming language, using SIL2 / SIL4 techniques.
• Definition and execution of tests
• Communication interfaces and protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, Euroradio, etc.
• Assume the responsibilities throughout the software development cycle, including specification, design, development, test, and delivery.

We are looking for an early professional passionate about programming and looking forward to discover the fascinating rail signalling area.
We highly take into account all the knowledge adquired during the degree and internships.

Requirements:
• Software engineer (computer science, engineer in industrial,electronics and telecommunications)
• Knowledge in the C / C ++ programming language. Knowledge in Ada will be valued.
• Knowledge of RTOS (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, ...) valued.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux API programming valued.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces and protocols such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, Euroradio, will be valued.
• Knowledge of SW architecture.
• Good level of Spanish and English, spoken and written.
