 What part will you play?

Join us as Product & Solution Security Officer and drive Product & Solution Security (PSS) globally within the Siemens Energy organization. As part of our central cybersecurity organization, you will be responsible for the product and solution related security of our business.

  • In your new role you identify best practices and derive company wide technical standards, processes & policies for which an overall governance or guidance is in the business interest of Siemens Energy.

  • You advise executive management, product and project management regarding security for all customer-facing Siemens Energy products, solutions and services as well as advise appropriate processes, drive the definition of a PSS strategy and implementation of PSS for Siemens Energy business units.

  • Further, you establish and maintain an internal business unit spanning PSS network and community and ensure a coordinated communication of organizational marketing and sales in line with Communications and PSS communication concept.

  • You synchronize adequately with the internal Information Security organization to ensure that the IT-infrastructure (e.g. development suite, sources, manufacturing) is sufficiently secure.

  • Moreover, you track the status of adherence and application of product and solution security standards, processes and policies as well as the implementation policy of the organization.

  • You coordinate and manage business unit spanning incident and vulnerability handling activities and processes.

What you need to make real what matters.

  • We look forward to meeting you if you hold a successfully completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, electronics or related field or possess equivalent experience

  • You possess a minimum of 10+ years of meaningful and relevant experience.

  • You have gained long-term meaningful professional experience in the product, solution or service field and with cybersecurity, preferably you have prior work experience as Product & Solution Security Officer or Product & Solution Security Expert.

  • Additionally, you are experienced in working with multiple stakeholders in a variety of functions at multiple levels, including executive management, in leading across organizational reporting lines and in managing multiple projects.

  • A certification as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar would be a benefit.

  • Knowledge about Siemens Energy portfolio would be an advantage as well as up-to-date knowledge in security standards, e.g. IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NERC CIP.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of time.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.

  • Personally, you show analytical and strategic thinking, quality and result orientation, intercultural awareness and the ability to work in cross-functional team.
