Siemens Infrastructure is looking for a technical professional, experienced in leading distributed power generation assets to join the Energy Performance Services (EPS) team and support the newly built Asset Management team. This Energy Asset Manager (EAM) will be an individual contributor responsible for lifecycle activities of Distributed Energy Systems (DES) assets including Performance Assurance related topics. EAMs are responsible for the definition and coordination of maintenance activities, presentation of deliverables, developing customer happiness, driving financial performance of programs and projects, coordination of issue resolution, and support for developing outcome-based EPS service programs and other lifecycle sales. They are encouraged to play a leading role in the deployment of the Enterprise Asset Management software across our DES portfolio.
Coordinates asset management, operations, maintenance activities and monitors performance of assets in the portfolio ensuring high responsiveness. Decides on dispatch and supervises execution maintenance activities. Monitors critical spare parts inventory on site and regional hubs to increase availability. Evaluates field service quality levels and continuously strives for high-quality standards while ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations. Supports EAM software utilization and handles work and customer experience for accounts. Develops customer happiness through excellent communication and work product. Presents or coordinates the presentation of all service phase deliverables to external customer including monitoring, measurement and verification (M&V) and overall performance assurance reporting. Ensures understanding of guarantee components and methodology as well as clients contractual responsibilities during the service guarantee phase. Ensures transparency of service agreement budget, activity plan and invoicing and facilitates execution of contract amendments during the guarantee phase in accordance with established process. Supports upselling initiatives and drives successful financial performance for accounts. Timely execution of service contract bookings, renewals activity planning and billing oversight. Achievement of order intake, revenue and margin targets. Reviews monitoring and reporting outcomes to proactively address underperformance and opportunities for performance optimization. Address areas of underperformance that have, or are likely to, result in customer dissatisfaction or guarantee shortfall through coordination with customer and internal EPS management and resources. Address opportunities for further optimization of program results through partnering with client and internal resources. Supports the development of robust PASPs and EPS service programs throughout customer lifecycle. Coordinate during project development to ensure ongoing service value & cost-effectiveness in new PASPs. Use opportunities to grow or re-scope service programs to incorporate Siemens service portfolio, especially digital and remote services, to drive continuous program optimization for assigned accounts.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technology or other similar technical field strongly preferred.
- Proven understanding of lighting, electrical, HVAC, and automation systems for commercial buildings.
- Proven understanding of standard energy calculations and models.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of International Performance Measurement & Verification Protocol (IPMVP) and Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) standards, and familiarity with ASHRAE Guideline 14.
- 5-7 years of energy industry-related experience (candidates with less experience with related Advanced Degree or certification will also be considered).
- Travel up to 30%

Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be at least 21 years of age in order to participate in the required Siemens vehicle plan.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), Professional Engineer, or other related energy certifications preferred.
- Experience in remote energy metering, building energy auditing, and/or building commissioning
- Familiarity with Fault Detection and Data Analytics
- Experience in Remote Energy Monitoring
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
