What part will you play?

You will be part of an organization that is responsible for providing cybersecurity support for all Siemens Energy Divisions and Functions as well as all seven Siemens Energy hubs by protecting the Siemens Energy specic IT/OT infrastructure and the company’s customer-facing products, solutions and services worldwide.

In your role as IT Finance business partner (f/m) you will

  • Act as financial partner to the support the entire SE IT organization as well as the Business in the Europe. Determine financial impact of decisions by functional/technical owners and ensure proper value flow

  • As the IT Controlling Professional, you will report directly to the Controlling Manager. Within the SE AC organisation (supporting the IT function), the successful candidate will focus on supporting the technical IT colleague’s business units in Europe

  • IT Partnering with business unit finance functions working on automation and digitization topics

  • Generation of budgets, forecasts and actual cost for IT Gross Cost/Provider Cost, IT Services and Cost Recovery for assigned organization

  • Ensure that Internal Service Agreements (ISAs) are in place as a contractual basis for IT relationships between different legal entities within Siemens

  • Support service owners in documenting and controlling cost reduction initiatives in order to achieve SE IT cost reduction targets

  • Consistently review financial processes within SE IT Europe organisation for harmonization and standardization potential. Identify current shortfalls, develop improvements and drive implementation within the organisation

  • Ensure that operational structure for IT Cost and Services are in place and value flow is adhered to (SAP - Cost Centres, WBS Elements, movement of cost, settlement of cost elements)

  • Manage relationships with Global functional leads and Business contacts

  • Responsible for ongoing financial reporting within IT (Globally/locally) as well as providing relevant input for reporting towards regional IT Management and local SE Businesses

  • Assess, align and implement financial processes following Global, regional & local guidelines. Analyse current situation, Global and local dependencies, prepare GAP analysis and determine solutions

  • Coordination, preparation & timely submissions of budgets & forecasts in area of responsibility

  • Cost controlling on cost centre level as well as WBS elements and ensure proper settlements as well as period end closing activities

  • Confirm all Time Reporting is timely to provide timely cost centre clearances

  • Work with SE IT Management during budget planning, forecasting, actuals to ensure sound Provider and Receiver reporting

  • Act as financial partner to local topic owners/managers

  • Provide transparency on IT service Provider and Receiver costs and conduct regular review meetings with stakeholders

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Business Administration/ Finance qualification

  • Candidate must have 4+ years of experience in financial related field

  • Business case modelling skills

  • Successful candidate has strong analytical capabilities paired with result and quality orientation

  • Candidate is self-determined, always looking into improved ways of doing business

  • Demonstrated ability to bring the benefits of finance to solve business issues while also managing cost

  • Travel up to 15% (domestic/international)

  • Tableau modelling

  • Good understanding and interest in IT topics

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure cost

  • Proficiency in the German language
