What will you do?

  • Provide direct input to develop the facility’s waste reduction plan.
  • Keep the Health and Safety risk assessments, environmental aspects' assessment as well as the gap and job hazard analysis up to date.
  • Participate in inspections and meetings
  • Assist in updating the training matrix (e.g. inputting training records, coordinating training schedules, monitoring training expiry, etc.)
  • Work on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) related documents as well as reports and Information Board postings

What will you need to succeed?

  • Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program in or related to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS)

  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and principles

  • Comfortable with technology and possesses a working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, with   good MS Excel skills

  • Very good knowledge of English both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
