What part will you play?

The Customs Global Regulatory team is responsible to develop, implement and enforce global guidelines. This also by creating and sustainable establish a global “Customs” network to achieve exchange of know-how and engage the interaction/integration of Customs colleagues within Siemens Energy global. 
  • In your new position, you will develop cross-divisional / cross-border guidelines and specialist concepts in the area of Customs, and implement and enforce global guidelines 
  • You evaluate global framework conditions (WTO, WCO, preferential regulations) potential developments within Customs/ Foreign Trade landscape and define measures for the implementation of new legal provisions
  • You will also work on overarching customs and foreign trade issues to support the Customs specialist team and network partners
  • Additionally, you have a clear understanding of the legal requirements to be integral part of an Internal Control Program Customs and ensure adequate measures for the sustainable implementation
  • You develop a clear and concise strategy as well as implement same on a global scale
  • By exchanging know-how and engaging the interaction/integration of Customs colleagues within Siemens Energy global, you create and sustainably establish a global Customs network 
  • You collaborate effectively with central functions, hubs and countries based to achieve a positive Customs footprint
What you need to make real what matters.
  • We look forward to getting to know you if you hold a degree in finance in the field of customs, economics or a comparable education with sound knowledge of customs law, foreign trade law and preferential law
  • You have a longstanding professional experience in consulting in the area of customs (export/import, AEO, preferences), ideally also in operational implementation 
  • In addition, you have experience abroad or have gained experience in project management in international projects and are in favor of developing, implementing and controlling strategic plans
  • In order to find your way in your international environment, you are fluent in German and English
  • You convince with negotiation, presentation and moderation skills as well as assertiveness for the sustainable implementation of the guidelines and establishment of international collaboration within Siemens Energy Customs community
