Logistics LLC has an opening for Director, Business Development supporting our
Courier/Express/Parcel business segment.
Responsibilities:
o Coordinate and collaborate with other businesses
and functions to plan and execute global account strategies.
o Partner with the customer to the extent that you
are immersed in the operations of the customer and become an expert.
o Leads all aspects of development of strategies for
profitable penetration into new or existing market segments.
o Guides business development within assigned key
accounts and/or markets.
o Develops sponsorship with key decision makers.
o Leads and drives new program ideas which result in
profitable market strategies.
o Leads the development and execution of account
plans to ensure achievement of assigned business goals.
Job Skills:
o Ability to blend "Big Picture" ideas
with the ability to execute details necessary to succeed.
o Excellent organizational skills
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
in English
o Advanced user of presentation tools (e.g. MS
PowerPoint)
o Must be willing to travel (30%).
Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Experience:
o The ideal candidate should have 10+ years
successful experience in related field, with experience in material handling
systems and/or express delivery industries preferred. Experience MUST include
previous relationship with FedEx (FedEx Ground preferred) and should also
include marketing to C-level executives.
