Fitter/Erector - 2nd Shift

We're looking for dedicated people with the skills and vision to build a better tomorrow. In this position you will fabricate weldments of steel, stainless steel, steel castings, and non-ferrous metals. You will become a member of the local bargaining union and assigned to work on 2nd Shift at our Olean, NY facility.  


What are your responsibilities? 

  • Work from routings, bills of materials, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Layout, cut, fit, grind, assemble, and tack weldments.
  • Do welding as required on a structural level.
  • Use had grinder to smooth weld and adjacent surfaces.
  • Use cranes and other equipment ot move parts as required.  Perform rigging, hooking, and lifted as required.
  • Perform necessary quality inspections to assure parts and components are to specification.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work areas.
  • Observe all safety and work rules.


What will you need to qualify for this role? 

  • Candidates must achieve a passing score on the TABE test issued at One Stop.  Call 716-373-1880 to schedule an appointment.
  • HS Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Must pass our basic mechanical aptitude test given on-site
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis throughout the day.
