Job Description


Strong communication skills and ability to work and prioritize in a fast paced environment are critical for success in this position.

Supplier quality management for a broad variety of rail parts procured.
Develop methods for inspection, testing, sampling and training.
Initiate non-conformances, corrective actions and perform root cause analysis.
Inspect welded components and assemblies
Review and Inspect parts per fabrication drawings and assembly Instructions.
Reviews receiving inspection reports, certificates of compliance and conformance and related test reports to determine validity.
Lead problem solving efforts in a technical, interdisciplinary approach

Specific Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 2-3 years of experience with welded, machined, fabricated, casted, painted, coated and welded parts in Rail Industry. 
Experience and competence of 2 yrs. in using calipers, micrometers, protractors, measuring tape, thickness gauges, gloss meters etc.
Experience problem solver as an individual and leading a group, soft skills should include highly credible team player based on related experience and strong written, verbal communication skills, patient, action oriented, and able to utilize resources outside quality area.
