Your responsibilities:


* As technical change manager responsible for:

       - Implementing the regulations and for the optimized and timely implementation of changes in the project,

       - Reviewing change requests,

       - Obtaining all cost estimates of the interfaces affected (cost, hours, etc.),

       - Determining the ROI (only for “CAN” changes),

       - Preparing decisions of the Change Control Board with the support of the departments involved,

       - Coordinating the CCB (invitations and suggested decision),

       - Approving the reviewed technical change requests,

       - Planning the technical change implementation (initiating scheduling, capacity planning, material planning, local implementation with the support of the COM etc.)

       - Following the Design Approval (DA) for the modules with regular status meetings

       - If necessary, initiating measures to accelerate cycle times of technical change (internal/ external) in all phases,

       - Sharing information with Documentation Management, Configuration Management, the Homologation Manager, Safety Manager, Claim Management, Commissioning und O&M, as needed,

       - Ensuring on time confirmation about the completion for all vehicle-related measures, when delivering a vehicle and for all vehicles under warranty,

       - Ensuring, together with the Commercial Project Manager, that the actual costs for the technical change request are recorded while the measure is implemented.


* As configuration manager responsible for:

       - Definition of and agreement on the configuration obligatory parts (defined by project) with all intern and extern project participants, along with the customer,

       - Instruction on how configuration obligatory parts of extern manufacturer (e.g. vehicle- or component manufacturer) have to be registered and transferred, if divergent to the regulations

       - Creation and actualization of the list of configuration obligatory parts (CM reference list) based on the master list in SAP with distinct installation location (wagon, location, equipment identification),

       - Coordination and controlling of the CM-activities of all intern and extern project participants throughout the whole project lifespan with the goal of a contractual performance,

       - Ensuring of the completeness and currentness of the required CM-data in the particular project phases (eg. duplicate clarification, 3.1 certificate, etc.)

       - Registration of the particular version / status for components with software in the particular released version

       - Ensuring of the synchronization of the CM-data (eg. inbetween Cormap and SAP) to the change management, commissioning, warranty

       - Holding at least weekly, dependent on project status, configuration discussions
