The plant, which underwent a significant modernization, manufacturers large traction motors and parts used in industries like rail, oil and gas, chemical, pulp and paper, mining and power generation.

Siemens is hiring an Employee Communications Professional for Norwood, Ohio, location.

What you will be doing:

Develop and implement employee specific communications for Large Drives Applications US business unit. You will work closely with the Employee Communications Strategic Team Leader.

Collaborate with designated internal clients within the Large Drives Business team to create and engage, inspire and educate our employees about our mission, values and business priorities.

Learn about the business and the initiatives and priorities of teams supported to become a trusted, knowledgeable communications partner and advisor.

Create and deploy content across multiple channels and formats, including written, video and digital while delivering essential communication planning and message development.

Contribute to the development of strategies and advise senior managers in crafting and refining key employee messages, speeches and presentations.

Align messages with company objectives through outstanding writing and storytelling with an understanding of employee information needs.

Demonstrate a keen eye for audience engagement and a passion for inspiring change through a variety of communication channels.

Support and execute an engaging communications strategy that brings to life the business strategy and transformation for all employees.

Demonstrate strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, resourcefulness and the ability to analyze metrics and draw measurable conclusions.

May communicate to employees in other LDA Americas regions including Canada, Mexico and South America.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Communications or related fields
  • 5 + years of proven experience in Employee Communications, or other related communications.
  • You will have the opportunity to travel 10-15%

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Preferred experience includes presenting in manufacturing and industrial equipment businesses (Motors, VFDs, Electrical Panels, etc.)
