Local 96 Working Foreman

Job Description

Siemens Mobility ITS seeks a Local 96 Journeyman or Master Electrician to manage its City of Worcester Streetlight Maintenance contract in the role of Working Foreman.  The contract scope of work includes:

1. Utility mark-outs of underground streetlight conduits.  
2. Troubleshooting streetlight outage reports.  
3. Installing new conduit, pole foundations, handholes, and poles. 
4. Organizing and reporting all documentation related to the work for billing and cost tracking purposes.
5. Responding to emergencies on nights/weekends, e.g., pole knockdowns, hit wires, utility mark-outs.  
6. Daily communication and coordination with City and Siemens Project Manager.  

The Working Foreman is expected both manage all crew members and self-perform work not assigned to others.  

Desirable, but not required: 

1. Master Electrician's License in MA
2. Electrician's License in RI, CT, NH
3. Operator's License
4. Commercial Driver's License
