Job Description

Position Summary

•       Responsible for leading, organizing and driving Central Laboratory Solutions (CLS) Cross-Franchise Group Strategy & Operations initiatives, processes and special projects

•       Functions as Chief of Staff to CLS Franchise Group Head, supports development of CLS strategy and drives realization of operational excellence across CLS

•       Ensures LD stakeholder and customer orientation across the entire Franchise Group

       Supports Central Lab Solutions Franchise Group that comprises 3 Franchises across 9 product lines and accounts for ~$2bn in revenue.

Essential Job Functions

•       Responsible for leading, organizing and driving Central Laboratory Solutions (CLS) Cross-Franchise Group Strategy & Operations:

•       Initiatives:  Covers Healthineers Performance System (HPS) action plans, major product launches, CLS Assay Strategy, and cross-Franchise strategic initiatives

•       Processes: Coordinates alignment across 3 CLS Franchises (Immunoassay, Chemistry & Integrated, Plasma Proteins) during  5-year Hoshin Kanri strategic planning, Budgeting / Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Annual Global marketing plan and Franchise Group - Regional Marketing calls

•       Special projects: Supports individual CLS Franchises on high-visibility strategic and special projects to support management decision making across a variety of strategic and operations topics

•       Functions as Chief of Staff to CLS Franchise Group Head, supports development of CLS strategy and drives realization of operational excellence across CLS

•       Ensures LD stakeholder and customer orientation across the entire Franchise Group

•       Leading role model for strategic analysis, rigorous project management and                            fact-based decision making

Strategic Priorities

•       CLS Hoshin Kanri and HPS Action Plans

•       Professional project management as demonstrated by rigorous execution of CLS processes and special projects

·       The ability to relate well and establish credibility with senior leadership.

  • Undergraduate Degree and post Graduate Degree (MBA) is required. 
  • Post-MBA experience from a top tier management consulting firm is required. 
  • Strategic Marketing / Upstream Marketing experience within the Medical Device industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated business expertise and knowledge (business acumen), deep understanding of the Medical Device industry (especially in-vitro diagnostics), and the ability to lead cross-functional, global projects internally and/or externally
  • Typically 7 to 10 years of successful commercial related (Marketing, Sales, Business Development) or directly related function in a industry or consulting capacity with successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above
