Portfolio Solution Manager –  Coagulation, Hematology & Plasma Proteins (M/F)


Your tasks and responsibilities:


The Product Lines within the responsibility include Hemostasis, Hematology and Plasma Protein products from Siemens Healthineers. The Product line includes dedicated analyzers with a wide range of reagents for screening and follow up of the main diseases. The portfolio also includes IT products as well as digital microscopy devices. In the near future Siemens Healthineers will expand its portfolio with new attractive products.


1.      Market development and launch

As real marketeer you have the possibility to develop the market and launch new attractive products in the future. Your creativity and energy are needed to successfully develop the market with these new products.

You will define and implement the marketing strategy for current and future products:

o   Market Development and launch of new products

o   Develop sales campaigns adapted to the local market

o   Understand, analyze and follow-up of Market Trends

o   Create and implement Marketing and Communication Programs

o   Set/adapt product pricing strategies and develop/adapt product positioning concepts

o   Run competitive analysis and Intelligence

o   Coordinate scientific collaborations

o   Customer communications on new or existing products (Customer Bulletins, FSCA, …)



2.      Sales support

The key stake holders for the PSM are the sales people. The support, the relationship and the collaboration are key elements to develop a successful business.

You'll support sales in developing revenue for the products of responsibility through:

o   Joint customer visits

o   Sales argumentation and sales tools design

o   Support in tenders

You'll be the referent for the dedicated product lines on scientific & clinical topics:

o   Discuss on a scientific /clinical level with biologists and lab staff

o   Build relationship with Key Opinion Leaders

o   Participate in congresses and international meetings

o   Translate your scientific knowledge and newly gained insights in understandable and usable marketing and sales tools

o   Organize local marketing events for the customers

You will provide the link with the business line’s international marketing department.

You will support sales in developing revenue for the products of responsibility.


3.      Scientific support to the Field Application Specialist team

As marketeer you support the FAS team with your scientific knowledge and make sure they have the latest scientific information to support the customers.

You will support the FAS team through:

o   Scientific training on new products

o   Support for scientific collaborations with customers

o   Interaction with global marketing and R&D for product related issues

o   Collection of scientific publications


Your qualifications and experience:

  • A Master Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medical Technology or equivalent in a relevant life science subject

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical laboratory or equivalent experience in related business

  • Minimum experience in Marketing, you know what marketing is all about and are familiar with the latest marketing and sales techniques

  • Actual IT and network knowledge

  • Languages: Dutch, French and English


Your attributes and skills:

Well-developed personal and professional communication skills are required to effectively interact with regional marketing, global marketing, sales & senior managers within Siemens Healthineers

Self-reliance and motivation, takes initiatives and acts proactively

Good presentation skills

A must to comply and respect the companies 7 business principles

Commercial skills, customer focused
