Position Overview

You will work closely with PETNET Sales VP and Sr. Director for Business Development and their subordinates reporting to PETNET CFO.  This position is needed for budgeting for both PETNET Sales and Business Development, forecasting monthly, and reporting monthly sales volumes, KPI tracking, etc.  In this role you will also drive identification and reporting of productivity measures within PETNET.  You will prepare financial analysis for sales quotes, pre-approve sales contracts prior to signature by PETNET CFO, calculation of sales commissions payouts and targets. You will be integral member of Sales Leadership Team managing a growing and diverse sales mix and working closely with Contract Manufacturing Organizations to ensure forecast accuracy. 

Business Development responsibilities include development of business cases for new biomarkers, new business, and capital projects working with PETNET SCM and PLM organizations.

In this role you will be heavily involved in month end close calculating and posting entries for GPO fees, dose credits, rebates, third party sales and cost of goods sold,  and any necessary accrual adjustments for sales and business development cost centers. You will also evaluate risks and attest to effectiveness of sales related internal controls on a quarterly basis.   You will performs commercial/contract activities, pricing, margin calculations, etc.  Independently performs full range of standard work for the professional field. You will identify and resolve complex problems and apply problem-solving skills in order to deal with complex situations.

Responsibilities

·       Monthly Reporting

o   Organic Growth – Overall PETNET

o   Alliance Organic Growth

o   Pulse Check

o   PETNEXT sales graphs and slides

o   Cardinal Sub Supply report

o   Back-up Dose report

o   Provide mid-month sales report monthly and daily sales tracking reports and slides as needed

o   Freight KPI report

o   Maintain FDG “File of Truth” to track FDG product actuals and forecast

·       Forecast/Budget and tracking for all commercial and non-commercial revenue and the associated contra cogs

·       Prepare business plans for Business Development

o   New Biomarkers

o   New Business

o   Projects (i.e. new sites)

·       Financial analysis for customer quotes that require C-level approval

·       Review and approve contracts before routing for C-level signature

·       Calculate Commission Payouts & Targets

·       Forecast/Budget and tracking for Sales HQ cost centers paying special attention to commission and GPO fees forecast/budget

·       Forecast/Budget and tracking for Business Development HQ cost centers

·       Participate in monthly SLT meeting and present on the financials

·       Provide data and slides for the territory reviews that are presented annually by the territory manager

·       Month end

o   Post entries related to GPO fees, dose credits, and rebates

o   Post entries for Lilly  (purchased doses, retainer fee, dose prep fee, no dose batch fee, and STATs)

o   Post entries for BED (340B doses, purchased doses, dose prep fee, batch fees, and STATs)

o   Review Sales cost center expense and post any necessary accruals

o   Review IT cost center expense and post any necessary accruals. Reclass prepaid expenses to the balance sheet

o   Post commission accrual

o   Review P&L to review revenue and contra COGS for accuracy and completeness

o   Review contracts for key journal entries relating to CMO partner relationships and ensure all CMO related entries are posted accurately and completely. Maintain CMO contracts table to track contract milestones and financial obligations.

o   Maintain forecast and budget in Infor CRM tool. Roll forward forecast on a monthly basis.

·       Quarterly RIC controls

·       Quarterly management handbook update for sales graphs

·       Quarterly joint venture sales presentations

·       Annual RIC independent audit on assigned key controls

·       PETNEXT Productivity reporting and run productivity meetings for PETNET to record and prioritize new ideas

·       PETNET IT cost center budgeting and forecasting

·       Annually update dose volume and revenue for PETNET 5-year strategic plan

·       Provide ad-hoc reports on request
