Marketing Communications Manager (Motion Control)

Job Description

For our Digital Industries we are looking for Marketing Communications Manager (Motion Control)

What are my responsibilities?

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about Motion Control and its digital offering

  • Deploy successfully marketing and communications campaigns for MC and own their implementation from conceptualization to execution

  • Develop new and creative marketing and communication strategies, campaigns and other measures (360 degree marketing and communications approach) for MC‘s digital and software offerings (MTS, GMC, LVM)

  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups

  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and communications team in MC HQs (MC CM)

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners

  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Degree or professional experience in marketing, communications or a related field (> 3 years)

  • Demonstrable experience in marketing and / or communications together with the potential and attitude required to learn

  • Experience in planning and realizing of customer projects (e.g. trade fairs, events)

  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing and communications campaigns that engage, educate and motivate

  • Demonstrable experience in developing and managing online and social media campaigns SEO/SEM

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Solid knowledge in online communications (e.g. websites, website analytics and tools) and / or strong motivation to learn the relevant Siemens online and social media tools

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and communications measurement

  • Fluent in English, proven German language skills would be a plus but are not mandatory
