This is a role well suited to an
ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr.
Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:
o Sustaining ODM and OEM components for medical Ultrasound equipment for manufacturing and service
o Perform first level failure analysis on factory failures and field returns.
o Assist and cooperate with other engineers in PCBA design
o Support new product introduction (NPI) transition from design to manufacturing
o Develop & Improve the manufacturing tools in both SW and HW
o Implement and refine manufacturing processes by continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles
Required skills to have for the success of this role
o BS/BA in related discipline (EE/CE), or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas.
o 5+ years working experience or equivalent education.
o Experienced in schematic design and drawing
o Experience in using Hardware testing tools such as oscilloscope, DMM, logic analyzer, etc…
o Experience in electrical troubleshooting and circuit analysis
o Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows Office tools (Excel, Word, Visio, and Powerpoint)
Ability to travel 10% to 15%
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
o Experience in scripting languages (Python, Perl, Batch, PowerShell, etc…)
o Work experience with SAP is highly desired
o Work experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server
o Work experience with medical device manufacturing
o DSP, Embedded system, or Analog design experience
o Able to communicate in Chinese or Korean is a plus
