SAP Authorization Roll-out Support Specialist (GDC)

Job Description

The Healthineers P58 project results in process and master data standardization and harmonization across divisions, functions and regions. It delivers one common global regional ERP and Reporting (BI) landscape from twelve existing systems, with strict governance towards IT standards. The results of the project yield the future systems landscape of Healthineers sales and service operations.

The SAP Authorization Rollout Support Specialist supports Siemens Healthineers’ P58 SAP rollout project for upcoming countries rg. authorizations. His/Her work contributes directly to the success of the project.

This position is part of the SAP Centre of Excellence within the IT department of Siemens Healthineers.

Task and Responsibilities

  • You work closely with the Authorization Rollout Team Lead and Business Line representatives to integrate P58’s new upcoming demands, collected during the country rollout, into the existing authorization concept
  • You work closely with the SAP Authorization Line Organization and ensure a in time delivery of changes / roles / job-profiles
  • You will collaborate closely with all other project workstreams, PMO and the SHS IT SAP Authorizations line organization to resolve issues and achieve the goals of the project
  • You contribute to workstream status reports & participate in status meetings
  • Review & analyze authorization CRs for multiple systems & landscapes (ECC, MDG, S/4HANA & BI)
  • Monitor the maintenance of roles and authorizations in multiple systems and landscapes (ECC, MDG, S/4HANA and BI)
  • Test the authorization roles
  • Maintain role definition (e.g. CRs driven by compliance requirement)
  • Monitor and analyze authorization issues
  • Perform authorization reviews & provide reports
  • Support Audits
  • You will design and implement the country role/GAMA concept for affected systems
  • You will ensure a segregation of duties- & IT General Control-compliant implementation of authorizations within the systems, incl. critical authorizations rules to satisfy Siemens and Healthineers security & compliance requirements

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

  • University degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or similar


  • 5+ years of SAP authorization support experience
  • 3+ years of international SAP project work in large role outs
  • 3+ years of General Consulting- & Project-Mgmt. experience

Technical Skills

  • You have deep understanding of SAP authorization concepts, SoD conflicts and supporting tools
  • You are an expert in the configuration and maintenance of authorizations in SAP
  • You have experience in a similar role, managing the authorization of large SAP implementations for multi-national companies

Non-Technical Skills

  • You are able to communicate and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment incl. the ability
  • to collaborate remotely with IT teams in multiple countries like Germany, India and USA
  • You are self-starter, team-player and capable of working with very little supervision
  • You are systematic, methodical and well organized
  • As you will be working with different divisions, functions and regions, you are fluent in written and spoken English
  • International business trips are a welcome change for you to visit our project hubs
  • Personally, you convince through strong communication skills and consulting know-how

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 2000EUR brutto /month + VAR*
