Siemens Large Drives Applications (LDA) Nordic/Baltic are representing a market leading global product- system- and service supplier of rotating machinery and variable speed drives in the medium- and high voltage segment, testapplications for all industry, and also heavy duty rectifiers (HDR) used for electrolysis.  We deliver products, solutions and service for Oil & Gas, Marine, land based industry in the Nordic and Baltic countries.  When it comes to service for HDR we are taking over a global responsibility from 1. October and are therefore strengthen our team working with service, maintenance and retrofit of HDR plants globally.

We are seeking to hire:

Product Manager/Sales Engineer Spare Parts

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for administration of spare parts and sales to customers globally within the Heavy Duty Rectifiers (HDR) business area.

Specification of tasks:

  • Responsible for purchasing and inventory management, integrating spare parts into Siemens' ERP system (SAP) and IBASE, selling spare parts to global customers and working with our engineers to ensure that the parts are available to our customers and projects,

  • Maintain documentation of spare parts in collaboration with Product Lifecycle Manager.

  • Follow up agreed KPIs for LDA CS within sales / technical management

  • In collaboration with our purchasing department, lead and secure the purchase of spare parts.

  • Involved in ongoing activities (sales, project and service) where the involvement of the person responsible for the part is necessary

  • In collaboration with Product Lifecycle Manager, carry out internal projects to find replacement products for discontinued components.

  • Be a contributor to Siemens' internal departments within the field (sales, solutions, service and customer relations).

Some travel activities globally in connection with sales and supplier contacts. Main office location is Oslo.

Experience and competence

We are looking for an engineer who can plan and structure his own work, is customer oriented, service minded, and likes to stay up to date in new technological developments. You have an engineering education or technical vocational school in electrical engineering and have 5-10 years of experience in service and parts administration within the subject area rectifiers / large regulated motor drives (frequency inverters).

To succeed, you must have the ability to work independently and in teams. You easily connect to people and have good communication and social skills.

There is a large room for opportunity in many contexts, so you must have an ability to look positively at things, and to be able to see and take advantage of these opportunities. You have good IT knowledge. Working language is English. Knowledge of German and Norwegian is an advantage.
