Digital Software Sales Manager (Process industries)

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with Siemens Regional Companies in ASEAN to accelerate growth of the Digital Software Portfolio for Process industries (COMOS, Walkinside, XHQ, PlantSight)
  • The portfolio generally covers digitalization solutions for the entire asset lifecycle in process industries, comprising Plant Life Cycle Engineering and Asset Management, Operations Intelligence, 3D Virtual Reality Visualization, and Digital Twin Cloud Services
  • Provides deep technical knowledge in the assigned portfolio and advises both sales organization and end-customers in capabilities and options how to use and integrate the aforementioned portfolio effectively
  • Keeps Siemens Process Automation community informed about CIS software portfolio developments
  • Supports countries in identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities
  • Develops and extends Digital software portfolio knowledge within Siemens Regional Companies
  • Creates and follows-through mid-term business growth plan together with countries
  • Supports implementation of sales programs to monitor and improve sales in the region
  • Coaches the countries to ensure achievement of top-line sales target
  • Coordinates with regional APAC headquarters (in Singapore) on business planning and execution
  • Works with local organizations to promote new offerings through sales events, road shows, participation in exhibitions, key trade shows etc.
  • Able to live demonstrate software applications to prospects in customized and interactive manner
  • Serves sales organization and customers as an expert in product application and commissioning
  • Creates respective technical and commercial concepts and offerings in order to support the sales process.


  • Degree in Engineering
  • At least 7 years of sales or pre-sales experience in the industrial software space, with focus on Plant Life Cycle Engineering and Asset Management and Operations Intelligence
  • Strong business development experience and proven sales performance in the ASEAN region
  • Ability to work with people from different organizational levels and from different cultures and backgrounds
  • Good work ethics and results orientation
  • Able to work in fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator who is independent, resourceful and analytical
  • Flexibility for business travels of about 30% of time
