Job Description

Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is responsible for the professional management of Siemens’ real estate portfolio worldwide. In Greater China this includes ~200.000 sqm of office space and several Siemens owned office locations. Siemens Center Shanghai is the second largest office Location in Greater China and one of Siemens’ worldwide lighthouse locations.

As the Head of Siemens Center Shanghai and Office South you are fully responsible of the management of Siemens Center Shanghai and Offices South. You will manage a team of Senior Location Officers and Technical Project Managers, steer the daily operation, project and maintenance activities in the location, manage customers, functional interfaces & service providers and assume full responsibility for the financial performance of this Siemens lighthouse location in Greater China.

The candidate will have a Management function and report to the Head of Asset Management Area Offices Greater China.

Tasks:

  • Overall Management responsibility for the location;
  • Disciplinary and functional responsibly for the location management team
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction within the location
  • Ensure continuous productivity within the location (e.g. space optimization and customer specific solutions)
  • Preparation of management presentations for location specific concepts
  • Preparation of business cases for location specific projects
  • Steer financial performance of the location
  • Implement SRE business model in line with SRE business strategy;
  • Management of service providers e.g. cleaning, conference center, greenery, canteen and security
  • Management of maintenance and fit out projects within the location
  • Ensure EHS zero harm performance in the location
  • Prepare and drive tendering, bidding and contract negotiations with customers and service providers for the location 
  • Implement District SRE Business Strategy following the SRE China Business Strategy;

Required Competencies:

  • 5+ year of experience in a business Management function
  • Strong mentoring and people development capabilities
  • High ownership and analytical capabilities
  • Knowledge of Siemens business, organization, processes & internal customer requirements is an advantage
  • Knowledge of real estate market as well as mechanism & tasks is preferred
  • Advanced knowledge in Business Administration
  • Strong Customer orientation
  • Excellent communication skills & social competency
  • Academic degree in engineering, real estate or business administration
  • Advanced English language skills are required, additionally local country language preferred
