Factory Commissioning Test Technician

Job Description

 Siemens Mobility designs and manufactures across the entire spectrum of rolling stock, including commuter and regional passenger trains, light rail and streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trainsets. We provide rail vehicles, locomotives, components and systems to more than 25 agencies in cities such as D.C., New York, Boston, Sacramento, San Diego, and St. Louis. What you will be doing

Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on light rail, locomotive and coaches  
Troubleshoot, document and repair electrical and mechanical failures  
Work with state-of-the-art dialogistic test equipment.
Have ability to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
Reading, interpret and understand written or electronic schematics.
Use PTU’s to troubleshoot various systems onboard light rail, locomotive and coach vehicles.
What you will need to be successful

High  school diploma (or GED)
3+  years experience in electrical testing.
Proficiency in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshooting
