For our low voltage team, we are looking for a motivated and driven Bid Manager.

You will be primarily responsible for managing the development and submission of individual proposals for industrial main distribution panels on low voltage (400… 690V, so-called MCCs or Motor Control Centers). Next to that, you will be available to assist in sales activities, on a case-by-case basis.   

You’ll manage proposals, technically and commercially in timely accurate manner. This entails analyzing and clarifying the technical tender and clauses, clearance of the customer specific components and running kick-off meetings with the project team and the customer. You'll also prepare technical offers and documentation and ensure that the projects are handed over to the project execution team with all relevant documents.

Together with the project controller, you’ll be responsible for the financial execution of the quotation and you’ll regularly monitor and report this in sales meetings.

Occasionally you may get the opportunity to assist in project execution of projects for which you have prepared the bid. This will enable you to get a return of experience and get to learn the project business.

Finally, you’ll provide technical sales support and assist in hand-over from sales/bid team to execution.

Curious to know if you could fit the role?

·       Do you have a Bachelor/Master degree in engineering sciences with specialization in electricity, electromechanics or equivalent through professional experience?

·       At least 3 years of experience within a relevant technical domain is required.

·   Do you have experience in offers preparation, from both a technical and an economical perspective?

·       Are you a quick learner and initiative driven?

·      Are you a great communicator with excellent spoken and written skills both in Dutch and English with a good understanding of French too?

·     Are you able to manage multiple tasks and communicate with different internal and external stakeholders?
