Director, Electrical Engineering

Job Description

This individual will lead the Electrical Engineering group of about 70 people responsible for all functions of the Electrical Design Life Cycle of our Rail Products. This life cycle starts with the bidding phase all the way though the design and delivery of the products including support for Testing and Commissioning. This person will be the Lead Technical person for Electrical Engineering & Design. Included in this group are the Electrical System Engineering Experts controlling all the major sub-systems of the products including RMSH (Reliability, Maintainability, Safety and Human Factors).

Part of this group have the Design Architects responsible for configuring the vehicle schematics commencing with the functional block diagrams right down to the release of the schematics, related electrical component lists and harnesses. Support is provided for the factory during manufacturing by this group.
