Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Service Technician as part of the CS MI PET Headquarters Support Center (CS MI HSC PET) team.  This position is based in Knoxville, TN.

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

-Delivering world class resolution management support to our regional support centers and business partners worldwide using the current service processes within Siemens Healthineers

-Use and develop advanced service analytics tools to monitor the installed base and improve the quality, reliability, and serviceability of our current and future products.

-Collaborate among functional lines (i.e. customer, service, sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing) to resolve complex problems and drive future product needs and requirements.

-Manage escalated field issues to ensure they are brought to expedient resolution

-Communicate service needs and action plans to the HSC management team

-Comply with all Siemens Healthineers processes, including but not limited to call handling, knowledge base, service documentation, change requests, defect submissions / handling and complaint handling.

-Maintain knowledge and seek out new skill sets and expertise to provide proficient support for our current and future product offerings.

-Actively participate in new product launches and sharing feedback and best practices with both internal and external partners, to ensure a successful product launch.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

-You have excellent interpersonal skills in cross departmental communication.

-Excellent spoken and written communications skills

-Working knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

-Self starter that loves working in a team-oriented environment.

-Excellent troubleshooting skills

-You exhibit outstanding follow-up skills and drive to bring issues to closure

-You bring five or more years of experience in the design, development, manufacturing, testing or service of CT or PETCT equipment.  Two or more years of field service and / or regional support experience is preferred, but not required for the right candidate.

-You understand the overall CS MI business and how it fits within the overall MI success

-You are passionate about the MI Service business and are willing to work outside the normal working hours as urgent issues arise

-Domestic and International Travel, up to 60%.  Must have the ability to travel on short notice (<24 hours).
