1 Collect data for all the materials for calculation of safety stock level, Reordering point, Maximum Stock level on predefined frequency.

2 Set the Master Data calculated in SAP MM Module - MRP system for auto generation of PR in coordination with IT coordinator.

3 Periodically review for any changes to be made in Master Data based on changing scenarios in internal and external environment to control procurement plan and inventory levels.

4 Pull Rolling Forecast and production plan from Production planning team for alignment of material procurement plan.

5 Analyse the changes in Forecast / Production plan and their impact on Procurement plans , Inventory levels and on time material availability for manufacturing operations.

6 Convert the forecast and production plan to material procurement plan based on material requirement dates.

7 Share Annual Demand and Rolling Demand with Vendors to ensure their readiness.

8 Finetune the demand with Vendors on regular pre-set frequency.

9 Arrange for Stock Agreement / Master Purchase Agreement with Vendors based on Demand in coordination with SPR Team.

10 Arrange for Lead Time Agreement with Vendors in coordination with SPR Team.

11 Do Rolling scheduling of qty of material required, frequency of deliveries and material required dates and share the same with vendors.

12 Get acknowledgement from Vendors for schedules defined.

13 Control Material Receipt Schedules and Inventory to ensure

  1. Capacity of warehouse is properly utilized
  2. Material is available in time for proper quality inspection.
  3. Material is available on time for Manufacturing.
  4. Proper cash Flow
  5. No Dead Inventory, Slow moving Inventory, Excess Inventory.
  6. Zero Rejection
  7. Low Logistics Cost

14 Participate in Yearly Physical Stock Verification activities.

15 Prepare PO as per schedules and get them released.

16 Followup with Vendor to get the Order delivery confirmation.

17 Followup with Vendor on regular basis to ensure dispatches ontime.

18 Coordinate with concerned internal and external teams to ensure material receipt at factory ontime.

19 Update Production planning with material availability status orderwise in daily morning meeting and in system.

20 Approve the material required by production against rejections and make arrangement for replacing the same if required.

21 Release Material receipt plan to Logistic Stores to arrange for plan for unloading activities.

22 Coordinate with Vendor to get replacement against incoming rejections / Wrong supplies ontime.

23 Ensure receipt of documents such as material certificates and pass on to incoming quality department.

24 Align with Vendors for achieving Year on Year Lead Time Reduction.

25 Align with Vendors for achieving Year on Year Logistics Cost Reduction.

26 Align with Vendors for achieving Year on Year Process Improvement.

27 Align with Vendors and SPR and Quality for achieving Year on NCC Reduction.

28 Prepare weekly, Monthly MIS reports for review by management.

29 Track and update Logistics KPI for monthly reporting.

30 Maintain 5S in all areas of responsibility.

31 Ensure safe operations in all areas of responsibilities.

32 Identify & Undergo Trainings on Regular basis to upgrade knowledge base.

33 Prepare for and participate in audits conducted by internal and external teams / agencies.

34 Close any observations of Audit by coordinating with proper internal teams.

35 Carry out extra duties allocated as a part of Teams such as Emergency Response Team , First Aid Team, Fire Team, Quality Circles, Localisation Team etc.

36 Prepare and regularly update/maintain the documents related to areas of responsibility i.e PD, WI,DOP,HIRA, QES,RC etc

37 Ensure correct transactions in system at every stage of Supply Chain.

38 Support and carry activities of colleague for whom you are designated as substitute during his absence or leave.

39 Perform any other task not mentioned above but allocated by HOD.
