We are adding a Deputy Commercial Project Manager to our team due to continued growth.
As our Deputy Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for the supporting the Commercial Project Manager for the execution of multiple trainset projects with circa 100+M USD in value and durations from 5-8 years. You will support the commercial execution during phases including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, commissioning, and customer acceptance.
What you will be doing:
Create profit & loss statements for assigned projects.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential problems, and support the Project Management team to devise contingency plans from a cost perspective.
Monitor and control project scope, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the project management team.
Support Director Commercial Project Manager with development and delivery of monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and preparation of presentations to management and internal / external customers.
Maintain tight cost controlling tools in order to provide the project management team accurate and timely information to make key decisions regarding the project financials.
Support in planning and forecasting activities.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
2 years of experience related to the rail industry
College diploma or equivalent experience required in accounting, finance, or business.
Excellent commercial, oral and written communication skills;
Motivation and flexibility.
We would be impressed if you had:
Commercial Project Management experience
Experience related to the rolling stock industry
Experience in controlling and accounting, contracts and claims experience with rail vehicle commercial project management
