Corporate Controller

Siemens Logistics is looking for an experienced and talented Corporate Controller to provide leadership and management of the Company Accounting operations. The individual must possess strong business acumen along with solid leadership and supervisory experience managing a Corporate Accounting functions. This position reports directly to the Company CFO and provides critical expertise to the overall business operation.

Duties and Responsibilities
Leads partnership with management of BU to drive financial performance against very complex goals
(Volume, EBIT, EVA, working capital). Leads planning and reporting cycles within BU, including risk
management. Within subject area, leads protection of company assets, application of most complex
control procedures, and financial planning and reporting within stated guidelines and policies. Leads
active risk management within subject area. Drives organizational alignment with strategy. Leads
building of effective business relationships to achieve goals. Leads invention of creative strategies for
dealing with constraints and pursuing opportunities. Applies advanced analytical techniques which are
necessary to gain greater insight and perspective on problems. Makes recommendations based on
advanced root cause and alternative solution analysis.
Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.
Area of responsibility has moderate strategic impact.
Develops and manages departmental budgets and/or business plans for a large department or
business unit or division.
Has substantial latitude to develop policies/programs for area of responsibility or products and to
forecast their impact; Analyzes effectiveness of policies/products and establishes future direction for
functional policies and programs or products that affect company as a whole; Aligns policies/products
and development efforts with company strategies.
Identifies resource needs with significant influence on approval of identified needs.
Troubleshoots and resolves most complex problems within multi-departments and/or cross-functional
areas.
Determines organizational structures and supervisory relationship.
Responsible for overall success of function or project within multi-departments and/or cross-functional
areas.

Education/Experience/Licenses
BS/BA in Accounting, Business Administration or advanced degree, where required. Certification may be required in some areas.
Demonstrates and applies advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for area
managed and good knowledge of other areas in the company and how they interact.
Demonstrates full understanding and application of management approaches for work direction,
motivation, and performance management.
Typically 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful
demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
