This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Biochemist 1, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating in conducting semi-complex tests or investigations pertaining to the development of new designs methods, materials, or processes and investigate possible application of results
  • Generating, correlating, and analyzing technical information needed to accomplish semi-complex tasks
  • Verifying product performance (clinical evaluation) and executing validation studies adhering to written protocols
  • Taking part at the knowledge exchange with our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions

  • You are hands-on, willing to and capable of performing laboratory experiments by executing them to plan.  This position involves handling potentially biohazardous serum and plasma from human and animal sources
  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • You are capable of working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions
  • You have demonstrated ability to communicate clearly technical information, both verbally and in writing.  This is an essential part of this position.
  • You can work productively in a team-oriented environment.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • A BS degree; 0-2+ years of relevant industry experience in Life Sciences or Medical Devices is strongly preferred
  • A good grasp of knowledge and principles of immunoassays and development process
  • Strong experience in evaluating the performance of in-vitro diagnostic assays
