At Siemens Mobility Engineering in the Czech Republic, we develop modern rolling stock in collaboration with our colleagues from abroad. We focus both on the overall layout as well as on designing sub-systems and cross-sectional characteristics. We create innovative products in the urban- (Avenio trams, Inspiro metro, etc.) and rail-transport (regional units, high-speed units) areas. You will focus in particular on:
  • Provision and support of the quality of mechanical and electrical components and systems, including software (according to international standards, e.g. DIN EN 50657)
  • Planning, organisation and collaboration in executing project milestones, including Quality Gates
  • Collaboration with expert departments in solving open issues and measures from Quality Gates
  • Continual collaboration in the development, improvement and standardisation of project processes and their application in practice
  • Support and training of Engineering employees and entire project teams in project processes in Engineering
  • Regular reporting and possible escalation towards Engineering management 
  • Qualitative assessment of requirements/task solutions according to the required deadline, quality and costs

What we expect from you:
  • University degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, electronics)
  • Experience in engineering/comprehensive development with a focus on management or quality management 
  • Experience in the segment of rolling stock (or a related area) a plus
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, team spirit
  • Ability to make independent decisions, including bearing own responsibility
  • High work-quality orientation 
  • Knowledge of qualitative methods, e.g. FMEA analysis
  • German for daily communication and elementary English
  • Willingness to travel (Austria, Germany)
