Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

Siemens Mobility, Rolling Stock Division is a market leader in the manufacture of light rail/locomotive vehicles. Our growth has created the need for a Senior Financial Analyst. In this key role, you will have a  strong impact on the business by providing comprehensive analytical support for the Finance team in order to create meaningful analytics, insight and operational due dilligence.

What you will be doing:

Prepare forecasts and budgets for operational expenses
and recoveries

Undertake advanced financial analysis using
Microsoft Excel (and other IT programs)

Present performance updates to finance and
non-finance Managers and Directors

Ensure financial guidelines are adhered to and
controls complete

Generate ideas and take ownership for
implementing new ways to improve processes

What you will need to be successful
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
5 years experience in finance

We would be impressed if you had:

Financial experience in a manufacturing setting

1 to 2 years of experience related to the rolling stock industry 

Experience in controlling and accounting, contracts and claims experience with rail vehicle commercial project management
