Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers, Laboratory Diagnostics as a Senior Staff Engineer. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for a high visibility, technical leadership opportunity. The successful candidate will own Global consumables end-to-end value stream within Siemens’ Supply chain for high volume products produced by suppliers and lead cross-functional teams that maximize value by achieving best in class operational efficiencies from our suppliers. As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for:
*Being technical lead of consumable products produced for Siemens by external suppliers using Siemens’ assets.
*Coordinating Global Supply and demand for consumables across Laboratory Diagnostics
*Establishing and monitoring KPI’s tracking utilization of assets to maximize value to Siemens
*Overseeing validation activities and participate in customer complaint investigations
*Maximizing value to Siemens’ supply chain through a combination of financial acumen and technical expertise

Required Education, Skills & Experience:
*Education: BS in Engineering: Disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial Automation; Manufacturing, Plastics, advanced degree in technical or business discipline desired.
*Minimum of 10 years experience
*Ability to commit to travel as required up to 25%
*Executive presence and maturity with ability to interact with leaders at all levels of the organization.
*Demonstrated success maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing cost using formal continuous improvement methods (6 sigma, DMAIC, etc.)
*Experience working in a medical or similar regulated industry is desired
*Demonstrated experience minimizing total cost of ownership of injection molding and complex automation equipment.
*Specify, procure, validate and support complex of custom automation equipment.
