Embedded Hardware Developer - Prague

Job Description

At our Siemens Advanta R&D Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0. 

We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products within established, stable and successful product family SIEMENS SIMATIC. To strengthen world leading position of SIMATIC ET 200 Input/Outputs, we start development of new IO modules, integration of new communication protocols and industrial EDGE technologies.   

Your task will be: 
  • hardware development of embedded electronic  (analog / digital design, communication interface, power supplies)
  • electronic design in compliance with the architecture, quality process and standards (e.g. EMC)
  • schematic design and layout support (e.g. component placement, EMC and thermal optimalization)
  • worst-case and single fail analysis; detailed calculations of parameters in the scheme
  • preparation of the test plan according to the specification and standard, verification of prototypes in the laboratory for temperature, EMC, mechanical tests
  • technical documentation of your design 
What we will appreciate from you: 
  • successfully completed university studies (specialization: electrical engineering / electronics or comparable courses)
  • knowledge of digital and analog circuits, communication interfaces, power supplies 
  • knowledge of measurement technology
  • professional experience in development - an advantage
  • knowledge of design with EMC requirements – an advantage
  • efficient communication skill in English language
