This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.

As a Technical Writer within Laboratory Diagnostics Content & Labeling,

    You will collaborate with subject-matter experts in R&D, Customer Services, Marketing, Quality and other functions to develop customer-facing online help, software release notes, and other information for new and existing products.

    You will track your work using agile visual management and participate as a member of a content and labeling scrum team.

    You will develop content using an XML-based content management system to maximize content reuse across multiple customer-facing deliverables and manage translations.

    You will help the team complete verification activities to ensure that customer-facing deliverables meet the project requirements.

    You are a self-starter with effective communication skills and able to collaborate virtually using Microsoft Teams and other tools.

    You enjoy working with other team members and external subject-matter experts to develop customer-facing deliverables.

    You enjoy learning about new technology to understand and document customer workflows with software and hardware.

    You enjoy being involved with implementing process improvements.

    You have experience with or are willing to learn XML-based writing.

    You have proficient PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

    You will work in a supporting role to start, with the potential to take on more leadership.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

    Minimum of 5-8 years Technical Writing or related experience.

    Experience with authoring or content management tools.

    Will work from the office when normal operations resume: Newark, DE; Flanders, NJ; or Tarrytown, NY
