This position is a part of the Atlas Graduate Program. Through this program, new engineers will receive 12 months of developmental training. This training will include technical and non-technical training courses. You will work with Siemens EDA executives and world-class engineers and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving software challenges in the area of electronic design automation.
Siemens EDA is in search of creative software development engineers to work in the Emulation Division. You will be working in a team that provides visibility for every signal in the circuit designs under verification by extracting, manipulating, and modeling the data from emulator. Your work will be mostly in C++ on Linux. Occasionally you will write system level tests in Verilog/VHDL that use software simulation tools. This position will include interaction with other software teams as well as hardware teams in an international, multi-site, development environment. We are looking for candidates who share a passion for tackling complex problems and developing innovative solutions.
- Recent college graduate with Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or Electrical and Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in C/C++.
- Good understanding of algorithms and common data structures.
- Basic understanding of gate level digital logic design and a hardware description language.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Self-motivated, strong ability to learn and explore new technologies, good analysis and problem solving skills.
- Prior experience with large software development projects is preferred.
