As a sales engineer at Siemens Large Drives Applications (LDA), you will be responsible for developing business opportunities, create, and take care of customer relationships and present optimal business development to our customers. You will be part of a team consisting of sales people and product specialists who work with drive technology and industrial automation for test applications.
In your daily work, you will have an active and relationship-creating role and you spend a large part of your time visiting our customers, who are usually Automotive manufacturers, system integrators, machine / cabinet manufacturers and automation partners. The role includes quotation work and pricing and entering into agreements with customers and suppliers. You will also have a budget responsibility and be responsible for maintaining and updating our CRM system. Your customers are located in what we call the "Nordic region" meaning Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland & the Baltic countries.

What is required of me?
To succeed in the role, you need to be passionate about sales, be innovative, relationship-building, and adaptable. We see that you flourish in an innovative environment that is characterized by technical development where you independently drive your customer plans and through various activities develop and create new business and understanding of our added value. Sense of business, interest in sales and customer issues and constantly working on process improvements is central to you. Furthermore, we see that you are sensitive to the customer's problems and take responsibility for solving the problems that arise quickly, efficiently and with good quality.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a few years of experience from sales in the field and have good knowledge of the industrial automation industry. You probably have a suitable education in automation, drive systems and the process industry. If you have also attended sales trainings, it is a merit.
If you know Siemens' portfolio in drive systems, you definitely have an edge to be successful in the role. Most important is your mindset to learn new. Driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish and English, in both speech and writing are a prerequisite.
