This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Sr. AI Scientist - Automation, you will be responsible for:

  • In your activities you research, design and implement algorithms in artificial intelligence for scanner and instrument automation
  • You use large scale data to find novel solutions for challenges faces by users of our diagnostic instruments and scanners
  • You will lead development of algorithmic components with fast prototyping and feasibility studies
  • You will take part at the knowledge exchange with our R&D team to improve and further develop our products and software solutions
  • You will apply your theoretical expertise and innovation to generate patents and publications in top journals and conferences

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers

  • You have completed graduate studies (PhD) in Computer Science or Operational Research and have at least several years of relevant experience in Multi-agent Intelligent Systems, Automation, Multi-agent Task and Path Planning
  • You have deep and practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence
  • You have good prototyping and programming skills (C++, Python)
  • You will be working with our latest technology and therefore you are willing to learn about new software and hardware solutions
  • Willingness to travel and flexibility is expected
  • You have very good presentation skills in an fast-paced research environment and you show team orientation, communication skills and customer orientation

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Doctoral degree or equivalent experience required in Computer Science, Operations Research, or similar engineering fields.
  • Deep and practical knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Automation, or Intelligent Systems demonstrated with a track record of peer-reviewed publications
  • Knowledge of software development processes and skills would be an added advantage
  • Willing to travel up to 20%
